5 March 2014 – Deflated

Ha, well, joke’s on me! Turns out that article I thought was supposed to be for Woman’s Day magazine is actually just an article that will be sent to only military publications such as the Maple Leaf etc…they should have said International Woman’s Day which is really what the article is being written for.

Regardless, I believe it will be published and when it is, I’ll post the links to the online sites. Meanwhile, I got a sneak peek at it yesterday and it looks great. My interview is one third of it..they interview 3 of us.

They wanted pictures to go with the article, so I got all the staff together, let Beth use my precious camera, and here’s some of the fun we had!

Just before we took this, several gunshots were fired behind us and beside us…but we didn’t let that spoil our smiles at being a team!

Irene surprised me by bringing me this skirt…I am always running around singing “Hakuna Matata”, so here’s what she found! I had tears in my eyes I was so touched.

Just hanging out, waiting to get started.

Taking their information for the captions on the pictures.

Rambo, being Rambo! What a ham!

Busy day ahead…meeting with our Sister nations, Australia, for lunch. Gotta plan to get some groups pics with them before they leave next week…sad face. 😦

That’s it for today

About lbidal

I am an average woman, of average age, leading an average life...at least on the surface. Sixteen years ago, I chose to spice up the average-ness of my life by putting on combat boots. Some of my blogs reflect my experiences while wearing them. Some blogs are of my passion and hobby, birding and bird photography...and some, well, can't help but blogging about average things living an average life! Enjoy!
