20 February 2014 – Fires of Juba

I felt kind of yucky yesterday afternoon…lethargic, bereft of energy, little nauseous and fatigued. I called it a day very early and went to bed and had a solid sleep until 4am this morning. I got up, padded around quietly, had a coffee, read a little, then went back to bed to try and sleep some more. It is now 8am and I am up and eating breakfast. I wanted to eat out on the balcony, but as the title suggests, the air was so full of smoke and the smell of burning whatever, I couldn’t even be bothered. So here I am, at my desk, eating the last of my oatmeal and writing my blog.

Thought a shower might pick me up and help wash away the lethargy…nope. Didn’t work. This sucks because I have places to go and things to do today that can’t wait.

Time to go and plod through the rest of my day.

That’s it for now.

About lbidal

I am an average woman, of average age, leading an average life...at least on the surface. Sixteen years ago, I chose to spice up the average-ness of my life by putting on combat boots. Some of my blogs reflect my experiences while wearing them. Some blogs are of my passion and hobby, birding and bird photography...and some, well, can't help but blogging about average things living an average life! Enjoy!
